Now isn’t that a nice thing to find in a gift box?

The bride and groom take the first bites of cake.

I got more than a few pictures of the wedding cake, but this one (I think) had the best angle and framing of the lot.

This is actually a bit of a back-step in time, compared to the most recent Pics of the Day, but I rather liked how this shot turned out after I went back and re-adjusted the white balance on a bunch of the wedding photos. The bride and groom look very, very happy as they enter the reception, don’t they?

This is a Lensbaby shot of a typical table setting and centrepiece at Kate & John’s wedding. The white balance is a bit “off”, mostly due (I suspect) to the fact that the room was lit by flourescent lights, while the windows letting in the natural light all had yellow glass panes on them.

My sister hates having her photo taken, but I submit that this one worked out and flatters her to a certain extent.

This is a shot of the not-yet-completed interior of the eastern part of the building in which I work. In due time, this are will become the offices of either our service department or our sister company (or both, most probably). For now, it’s just bare walls and struts. And those powerful lights that throw off a camera’s white balance something fierce.
