Time Immortal

This will be the last shot posted from the engagement portraits I took for my friends. I plan to move on to something different tomorrow, but it’s nice to hit a minor milestone — the 750th picture — at the end of a series. I just liked how this shot turned out (the limited depth of field was intentional), especially after a few touchups in Lightroom.

Here’s one more collage-type shot I took for my friends, for their engagement portraits and wedding invitations. Initially, the groom-to-be had just requested a “filmstrip” look (like the sort one might get from a photo booth), but I experimented with a few other framing options as well. These photos are some of my favourites from the entire set.

I took a bunch of photos for some friends recently — they had been looking to get some engagement portraits done that they could use in wedding invitations. I was only too happy to oblige, and as a part of the CD of photos I eventually gave to them, I included a few collage-type shots like this one.
