Aqsa Parvez’s brother charged with murder as well
June 27, 2008
Following on the heels of the news that Muhammed Parvez will be charged with first degree murder for the honour killing of his daughter, Aqsa, after she refused to wear the Islamic hijab, comes more good news.

Waqas Parvez, 27, was originally charged with obstructing police after his 16-year-old sister, Aqsa Parvez, was strangled in early December at her Mississauga home.

I think that is the hope we all share, Ellen. One doesn’t think highly of the criminal justice system in Canada, but there is hope that Aqsa’s father will be duly punished for his beastly crime.
