    My new iPhone wallpaper. Not quite my life’s motto, though I appreciate the sentiment. My new iPhone wallpaper. Not quite my life’s motto, though I appreciate the sentiment.

    ULTIMA IX ASCENSION, BITCHES

    Even when you install the 1.18 and 1.19 patches?

    will those make it run on vista? ;_;

    They should. The 1.19 patch is almost certainly necessary for any kind of modern system…even my Pentium 4 desktop (running XP) requires it. The 1.19 patch itself requires the 1.18 patch, so get that first.

    meh. the autoplay wont even open. thanks anyway though :)

    Just saw this. Yes, on Vista (but not Windows 7, for some odd reason) the autorun.exe file doesn’t work. I don’t quite know why this is, though I’d assume it has something to do with security settings.

    That’s okay, though. If you run setup.exe directly from the disc, THAT will work, and the game can be installed. I’ve got it installed under Windows 7 at the moment, and it works pretty well overall. Moonglow and (later in the game) manual ship travel) are buggy and can cause crashes; reducing the clipping planes to their minimum possible values seems to mostly mitigate this issue.

    Also, make sure you enable the “fly cheat” (just Google for it). Faster processors seem to cause the runes and sigils to get stuck up in the air after a shrine is cleansed, so you’ll need to “fly” up and get them. (It’ll also be useful in Serpent’s Hold and a couple other places.)

    Wow…the last time I was by this corner (Jasper Ave. & 108th St.) in Edmonton, there was an old, decrepit hotel there. Not no more, I guess. Wow…the last time I was by this corner (Jasper Ave. & 108th St.) in Edmonton, there was an old, decrepit hotel there. Not no more, I guess.

    Keep in mind that the Apple Store won’t be opening for another 2 hours; the line of people already stretches 1/4th of the north/south length of the mall.

At least Apple is providing refreshments! Keep in mind that the Apple Store won’t be opening for another 2 hours; the line of people already stretches 1/4th of the north/south length of the mall.

    It’s always interesting, going over your archives photos

    For example: between 2003 and 2005, I took 3562 photos with my Canon Powershot A70. Actually, I probably took more than that, but for one reason or another opted not to keep some.

    In 2006, I took 3992 photos on both the Powershot A70 and my Canon EOS 350D. That’s 430 more photos, in one year, than in the previous three years combined. And again, I probably took more photos than that, but didn’t keep them all.

    I expect that the count for 2007 will be even higher, probably over 6000 photos in total.
