Garfield minus Garfield

What happens when you edit the cynical fat cat out of his own comic strip? You’re left with Jon Arbuckle.
It’s pretty funny, actually — in that eerie, borderline mental disorder kind of way.
This one has been making the rounds

Star Wars (the first movie, the one from the 70s) explained by a three year old.
Can’t really hat-tip anyone in particular, so I’ll just send out general kudos to everyone who posted it.
Reader Mail: Your tagline…LOL
February 26, 2008
1389 sends in the following remark:
I’m in IT - with 31 years’ experience. I saw your tagline that says, “any project is easy when the instructions are ‘make it suck less…’”
I told my husband, and he said, “Except when it’s a vacuum cleaner!”
I would have to agree — vacuum cleaners are definitely something which can only be improved by increasing the amount of suck in them.
Glad to be able to provide a laugh!
Ali Mallah Tete

I have funny readers indeed. Blazing Cat Fur remarks thusly regarding Ali Mallah of the Canadian Arab Federation:
Ali Mallah Tete. Man Oscar Wilde, look out

Quite.
Thanks for the chuckle, BCF — I needed that.
Stuff White People Like

Religions that their parents don’t belong to
White people will often say they are “spiritual” but not religious. Which usually means that they will believe any Religion that doesn’t involve Jesus.
Popular choices include Buddhism, Hinduism, Kabbalah and, to a lesser extent, Scientology. [Don't forget Wicca! — Ken] A few even dip into Islam, but it’s much more rare since you have to give stuff up and actually go to Mosque.
Mostly they are into religion that fits really well into their homes or wardrobe and doesn’t require them to do very much.
I don’t know who this guy is, but he’s good.
Good satire

This will be, I think, a very funny blog to read through. I’ve only paged through it in brief and already its given me some laugh-out-loud “tragically” funny moments.
