Black holes can foster the creation of stars?

That is what this article appears to be suggesting
— evidently, supermassive black holes that pull in large amounts of molecular cloud can form elliptical discs of gas remnants, which (perhaps due to the unique gravity conditions?) can subsequently give rise to star formation.
Even in destruction, then, creation takes place. Very cool.
