Tip for fellas: if you decide to get re-married to your ex-wife, ask her to cancel the restraining order she took out against you
before you arrive for your nuptials.
Tip for cops: unless obvious indications of coercion are present, you can probably safely assume that if a woman is getting (re)married to a man against whom she had previously had a restraining order issued, she probably has forgotten about said order and/or obviously doesn’t consider it valid or needed anymore. Go thou and do likewise.
