Researchers at the University of New South Wales have found that Australians perceive Muslim-style headgear as a threat, even if they don’t realise they hold any prejudice.
Next question: apart from the possibility of prejudice, might there be…other…reasons why things that are recognizably connected with Islam might be regarded as a threat by Westerners, both male and female?
Just one other teensy little reason? Anyone?
