There’s room for one more power-pole picture, I think, to end the current series of photos.
The edits to this photo were fairly minimal. The Vivid preset in Lightroom pretty much set the colours where I wanted them to be, and the only other thing I had to do was correct for some harsh chromatic fringing on the metal boxes. Lightroom makes such edits a fairly straightforward, easy task.
The nice thing about this shot is that the Lensbaby’s habit of adding barrel distortion to the image is almost nowhere on display — there is a slight bend in the pole, but not enough to really offend the eye.
Of course, that has more to do with the pole being essentially in the center of the frame than anything else.
