British researchers ‘accidentally’ discover how to reverse memory loss.
Apparently, they were experimenting in some manner of “deep brain stimulation” to help curb an obese patient’s appetite. Said patient’s appetite didn’t go away, but evidently he started remembering things…vividly.
Apparently, this procedure may be useful in treating people with . If so, then…cool. It’s fascinating to me, because even now we really have very little understanding of just how human memory really works. This could be the first in a series of steps that allows us to probe that wondrous aspect of God’s design.
